On Saturday I did my bi-weekly shopping trip. I sure do enjoy grocery shopping more when it is nice and balmy outside....these bitter cold temps are the worst! And having to go into two stores (diapers and formula at one because they are cheaper) and then another for all our groceries....it can be exhausting to say the least.
I did come across a new find at
Fareway -
Flatout Light Italian Herb Flatbread. I have seen this flatbread advertised but have never come across it until this weekend. At
Fareway they had this variety and a whole wheat version. Here's how good they are:
- Only 90 calories
- Only 6 net carbs
- High Fiber
- 0g Sugar
- 0g Trans Fats
So of course, I made traditional wraps for lunch yesterday (ham, pepper jack cheese, ranch), but right on the front of the package it says they are also good to make pizzas with! I am such a
SUCKER for any kind of pizza, I think I may try that for lunch today. Oh....and last night I made an old family favorite - pizza burgers (See? Here I am mentioning pizza AGAIN). Stay tuned!
This Flat Out flat bread is what we use to make pizzas on when we are following the Farrell's diet. Very Good and good for you! I have to let you know that I saw your pulled pork recipe and wanted to try it, so yesterday when I was at the store with Jordan I told her we needed some pork butt. She started laughing and couldn't believe that we would want to eat anything that had butt in the name! Needless to say Hy-Vee was out of pork butt but I did get some Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce:)
ReplyDeleteToo funny! Yeah, the pork recipe is really, really easy...and btw, I did make a pizza with the flatbread for lunch today, very good! Sheridan swears by the Sweet Baby Ray's, I am now not allowed to get any other kind:)
ReplyDeleteFlat Outs are awesome! I discovered them when I did Weight Watchers and they make great pizzas - that's actually all we ever used them for - but they would make great wraps, especially the tomato one.
