It was a lazy Sunday (minus, caring for a rambunctious lab and our two dogs), so for lunch I whipped together some Tuna Melts. Yum. So simple, so easy, so delicious.
Tuna Melts
4 slices whole wheat bread
2 cans tuna (packed in water)
2 T. miracle whip
1 T. mustard
1 T. dill pickle relish
mozzarella cheese slices
Mix together tuna and condiments. Butter both sides of bread. Lay cheese and tuna on bread to make a sandwich. Place in pan and brown on each side, until cheese is melted.
Oh, and later this morning, Gauge (the dog we're sitting) found the empty tuna cans in the recycling bin outside and proceeded to throw them up in the air (while it's snowing) and use them as his new found beloved toy. What a dog.
Well, it's snowing here.....I'm off to make some homemade Vegetable Beef Soup....stay tuned!
Would you and Drake like to come stay with Joe, me and the baby (once the baby arrives) and cook for us?!?! Everything you post on here looks so yummy!
ReplyDeleteHmm...Lisa...will you pay me? Ha! Just think when you're up rocking the little one to sleep just think of what to put on your grocery list, that is what I did!
ReplyDeleteI will have to try that...I'll need to keep a pad of paper and a pen next to the rocker! As long as I don't rock myself to sleep too, that just might work!
ReplyDeleteYUM!!! I love a good ole tuna melt :)
