Everyone loves pasta. Pasta loves everyone. Win, win in my book!
I've been tackling the clutter this week.
Like hard core throwing away everything that annoys me or causes me to cry out in pain as it breaks the arch of my foot while mindlessly stepping on it.
I scoured away two full boxes of old toys to donate to Goodwill. That was NEEDED. The kids got a healthy amount of new toys and games for Christmas and in our 999 square foot house {I'm not kidding}, I just didn't have the room for it all.
Plus, the stuff I got rid of?
Yeah, they didn't even notice or care.
I know it's the new year and everyone is on the decluttering bandwagon, but this my friends is engraved in my personality. My daughter's preschool teachers were asking for small trinkets/toys for prizes at school...yep, I put together a bag. We did a huge grocery run last week....yep, the pantry got a deep cleaning.
It's just in my nature. Better than the alternative, right?
And if I loathe clutter, pasta is the exact opposite.
I LOVE IT.
I know...it's about as healthy as a sprinkled cake doughnut, but what family doesn't scream HOORAY when the mom announces it's pasta night for dinner? It just makes people smile. Behind meal planning, most people ask me for easy dinners, specifically ones that involve a noodle. Why? Because it's easy. 90% of the world's population can boil water and cook some pasta. So for that reason alone, I picked out 10 of our favorites. Ten pasta dishes that your family will love.
Plan for two of them during the week {with a few days of reprieve in between} and that leaves you with just a few other meals to fill in. How about my Burrito Bowls with Cilantro Lime Rice? Then maybe my Lasagna Soup. Finally round it out with my Zucchini Pizza Boats.
Do you see what just happened there?
I planned your whole week of meals. Five days of mouth watering goodness. {And yes, I do know a week contains 7 days....but in our house that usually means one night is leftovers and the other night is eating out/ordering in.}
Let's get started!
Here are 10 of our family's favorite pasta dinners. They are simple, tasty and crowd pleasing.
So, whatcha think?
Have a favorite?
Here's a little pick into what is coming....
Dried Beef & Green Onion Bagel Dip
Stove Top Beef Stew
Pimento Grilled Cheese Sandwiches
Baked Reuben Sliders
And.....cinnamon rolls. I'm going to attempt something. I'm still brainstorming. Stay tuned!
