Yes you can make a tray of cinnamon rolls in just under one hour!
These are yummy and super easy to bake up.
Many years ago (2016 to be exact) I shared my one hour cinnamon rolls, well before most of you knew me! Every now and then I like to go back to old recipes - try them again to make sure they still work, take new photos and reintroduce them.
And that is exactly what I did with this recipe!
So many new people come around here and many of them never look back into the archives. This way I bring back the old ones, yet fancy up the photos a bit. Think of it like redecorating a room in your house. Everything needs a facelift.
I've been wanting to tackle my One Hour Cinnamon Rolls because it's just such a brilliant concept - many ask - how in the world do you make cinnamon rolls in just one hour? Well, I am here to tell you it can be done. Even without shortcuts and while still using yeast!
This recipe makes eight cinnamon rolls, but I've doubled it many times before for a crowd. Works out just the same. They are hearty, just slightly sweet and in my mind simple perfection.
Cinnamon rolls can be made a million different ways from the traditional version - my pumpkin cinnamon rolls are always a favorite in the Fall, my sheet pan cinnamon roll cake is a great brunch item and my cute Easter Bunny cinnamon rolls take over the internet around Easter.
Who doesn't love a good cinnamon roll?
This batch is perfect for simple weekend mornings, just scramble some eggs on the side and a delicious breakfast is served! Trust me, you're family will thank you.
As usual, this is hands down, one of the most easy to use tutorials on Cinnamon Rolls... Wow
