This holiday dip is so fun!
Great served with gingersnaps during the holidays.
Dips in dessert form have really become a "thing" in the last few years. There are fruit dips to eat poolside in the summer and different flavored cookie dough dips to eat year around. And now, my friends we have this Christmas Cookie Dip.
It's a real thing.
Fully decorated with red and green sprinkles and gingerbread cookies used as dippers. If you don't smile looking at this photo then your heart is a lump of coal.
A few years back I was able to receive a behind-the-scenes tour of the Kalona SuperNatural headquarters just a short drive away from my house.
Propped right in the middle of Amish and Mennonite farm country, Kalona SuperNatural was founded in 2010. One of the most unique aspects is that it is truly a grassroots company. They know EACH and EVERY farmer they work with. No joke. They really do.
These farmers help them to produce organic milk, cottage cheese, sour cream, yogurt and butter just to name a few.
I took a look at all of their products and soon thereafter settled on creating a dip around their much beloved yogurt. Specifically, their "cream top" organic vanilla yogurt. Because let's face it, when you mix together yogurt, cream cheese, butter and powdered sugar the world stops on its axis and the angels sing.
Of course, like any other good holiday dip, I added sprinkles. LOTS and LOTS of red and green sprinkles. Jimmies, if you want to call them that + some mini Christmas tress for good measure.
This Christmas Cookie Dip is PERFECT FOR PARTIES. It's creamy, just slightly sweet and pairs ideally with a gingersnap or molasses cookie, but is just as good with a vanilla wafer or graham cracker. Kid's love this stuff!
Well, at least mine did.
