Y'all, I am a firm believer that every person in this world has been given a gift, a talent if you will.  I guess for me it is being the writer and publisher behind this food blog.  In just a few days I'll be coming up on my 8th anniverary {what?}.

For my friend Jami over at Lakeside Lettering her talent is hand painting modern wood signs that are perfect for your home.  I had been stalking Jami over on Instagram for many months, I'm sure liking each and every one of her photos, when I finally got up the guts to ask her to join my 12 Days of Holiday Giveaways.  She jumped on board right away, no questions asked.

She's an Iowa gal {woo-hoo!} and although I haven't met her personally, I'm sure we'd be fast friends.  I mean look at her unique style!  I love it.  I want every single one of her signs in my home.  Don't you?

Jami has a TON of handmade signs in her Etsy shop, but what is super great is that she also does custom orders.

With it being the holidays I'm super in love with her Joy sign and her Merry and Bright sign.  They are so beautiful!  

Back when Jami and I first started talking I purchased her "thankful" sign, as you see below.  It hangs in our living room, right above the entry to our kitchen.  When life gets crazy with the kids and I want to pull out my hair and grab a bottle of wine, all I have to do is look up at that thankful sign and instantly I feel a bit more calm.
