Are you a salty or sweet person?
Normally I would always say sweet person {major sweet tooth here}, but the more I think about it I think I'm a salty person who needs a sweet bite right after.
So basically both {as I sit here eating chips, followed by a cookie}.
I'm horrible.
This past June I went to a beautiful summer wedding and as we were waiting for the bride and groom to enter we all started munching on the MOST DELICIOUS PRETZELS TO EVER GRACE THIS EARTH.
Me, being me, promptly went up the bride {because I'm sure she wanted questions about her wedding snack options at that time} and asked her what they were.
Being gracious, she said "Dot's Pretzels! Aren't they the best?"
Why yes, lovely bride they are great!
When I started researching companies for this holiday series Dot's Pretzels was lingering in the back of my mind. I reached out {just not too long ago} and they said yes!
Dot's Pretzels is headquarted in small Velva, North Dakota. Owner and creator, Dot, used her homemade recipe and has taken it to the next level. With bakeries in North Dakota, Arizona and Kansas they are fulfilling orders non-stop to the cult followers.
These pretzels are addicting!
If you are a fan of Instagram stories, I swear I'll have at least one follower a day showcasing them in some sort of fashion. People get so darn excited about them! And with good reason.
They have their original version {which is the kind I had at that wedding this past June}, a newer Southwestern flavor, a new pretzel "rub" that you can coat your chicken, beef or fish with....and I've seen some chocolate bars circulating the web.
I need to get my hands on that chocolate bar with those broken pretzel bits in them....it would solve my sweet and salty craving!

ReplyDeleteI first tried dots at work from a friend. That day after I left work I drove to the store and bought 2 bigs and its history from there. Now it's time to try the candy bars. 100% worth every penny!

ReplyDeleteDot's Pretzels are the best! I don't usually like pretzels in general, but I can eat a whole bag of these bad boys! I too have seen the chocolate bars, but have yet to try them. I would LOVE to try the new flavor too!
