Today is a fun and pretty day.
Not only am I showcasing this BEAUTIFUL serving board, but I'm also giving one away!
I cannot believe it is February of 2020 {although January seemed to be the longest month ever}, which means Valentine's Day is right around the corner.
While I've never been a BIG romantic, I do enjoy sharing the day with my loved ones and making a point to let them know how special they are to me. Whether that be a spouse, a friend or your kids...it's a good day to just let them know how much you love them. Most of us are so busy we often forget to take a step back, breathe and just enjoy each other's company. That is what I believe Valentine's Day is all about.
I have been so, so, so blessed over the years and the companies I have worked with these past 10 years. 10 years! Still hard to wrap my brain around.
Anolon is one of those companies. Anytime I reach out to them with an idea, they jump on board without hestitation {pun intended}.
Within days of chatting I had this gorgeous Anolon Teak & Marble Serving Board at my doorstep. I tried my best to give this board justice in these photos and I'm not sure I did.....but it is BEAUTIFUL.
Serving and cutting boards are all the rage right now and you know why? Entertaining is back! People seem to be once again inviting friends and family into their homes and are not getting stressed about it. One of my favorite entrepreneurs to follow on Instagram is Amy Hannon. She owns a neat speciality store in Arkansas and her go to saying is "love, welcome, serve".
She is a strong promoter of inviting people into your home and serving them. Forget dusting your baseboards and worrying about the proper decor.
Slap some snacks on a board and if they are your true friends they will be happy!
So that is exactly what I did.
I went to the grocery store and stocked up on every Valentine's Day goodie that I could find, assembled this in about 3 minutes and watched my kids REJOICE.
It was that easy.
Entertaining doesn't have to be stressful! This style of dessert board can be done by anyone and can be enjoyed by everyone. Kids, church groups, teachers, your Grandma's card club, even your friend's who came over to watch the game.
People cannot resist CANDY and/or CHOCOLATE.
