Air Fryer Donut Holes (using pizza dough)

Air Fryer Donut Holes are simple, easy and a family favorite!
Grab my favorite pizza dough recipe and turn it into these sweet and pillowy donuts.

Air Fryer Donut Holes (using pizza dough)

Yeah, yeah, yeah, another air fryer recipe.

What can I say? I love cooking with this thing! It's fun, easy and quick.

I recently purchased my friend Biz' new e-cookbook, Skinny Pizza Dough Edition, which features a TON of recipes using her famous skinny pizza dough.

What is her famous skinny pizza dough you ask?

Well, it's a simple and easy recipe that uses flour and plain Greek yogurt {plus a couple other things} and it makes the most delicious pizzas, desserts and more. Double bonus, if you are doing WW {formally known as Weight Watchers} it comes out to just 1 point on any WW plan.

Air Fryer Donut Holes (using Pizza Dough)

I had recently whipped up a batch and stuck it in the fridge {yes, it gets better the longer it stays in the fridge}. After using some for homemade pizza and hot pockets for the kids, I wanted to make donuts! Mainly because my kids beg for donuts almost daily and I got sick of their whining.

This dough can be turned sweet or savory....and let me tell you, these donut holes are amazing. And the kids were thrilled.

Now, I completely 100% recommend using this skinny pizza dough recipe for the donut dough, but if you have another favorite or a different version sitting on your counter, then go right ahead.

I'm not the pizza dough ruler - but this version is really good!

Air Fryer Donut Holes (using Pizza Dough)

Just 5 minutes in the air fryer and these beauties puff up like birds in winter. They get slightly crispy on the outside, but the middle is tender and soft.

Dip those babies in melted butter, followed by a bath in a bowl of cinnamon and sugar and you'll be popping them in your mouth pretty quick.

Do not let the kids near you while doing this....they'll be gone before you can get them to the table!

Air Fryer Donut Holes (using Pizza Dough)

You know those carnival or state fair donuts you get every Summer?

THESE TASTE EVEN BETTER.

And those things are pretty darn good.

Just one donut hole and you'll be hooked, printing off the recipe for future lazy Saturday mornings. Trust me, they'll become a new favorite in your house.
