Chicken & Tomato Basil Fettuccine

Here’s an incredible date night meal or easy weeknight dinner!

My new Chicken & Tomato Basil Fettucine is a one pot meal full of flavor and enjoyed by all.

This post is sponsored by Bushel Boy.

I may just have my new favorite one pot pasta dinner! And here’s the kicker – it combines fresh, local ingredients AND it’s incredibly easy to make.

Perfect for a date night in {add fresh bread and a salad} or even as an easy weeknight dinner for the whole family, if your loved one loves pasta then stay with me here! This dish has it all – a creamy, garlicky, cheesy sauce + fresh, sweet red cherry and grape tomatoes that are blistered and cooked until juicy, and chicken that is sautéed in BUTTER. And fresh basil to bring it all together.

Need I say more?

These sweet red cherry and red grape tomatoes from Bushel Boy steal the show in this pasta dish. All year long {not kidding!}, you can find Bushel Boy tomatoes in your grocery store as they are grown even during our harsh Midwest winters in climate-controlled greenhouses.

Their innovative technology enables ideal growing conditions all year long. They have systems that monitor and adjust light, temperature, nutrient levels and CO2.

They capture rainwater and filter and redirect the CO2 throughout the greenhouse. Employees hand pick and package over 60,000 pounds of tomatoes a day!

Consistently pruning vines and checking on their health, all the while being pollinated by bees. Bushel Boy allows their tomatoes to ripen on the vine until the last possible moment before picking and being delivered fresh to us.

This pasta dish turned out spectacular!

It combines most everyone’s favorites – juicy chicken, fresh produce, an easy and creamy sauce, fettuccine noodles and sharp and nutty Parmesan cheese.

As a long time {veteran, really} food blogger I often get requests for dinners that aren’t fussy. Ones that don’t dirty the entire kitchen, yet ones that get the whole family to the table quickly just by the delicious smell.

This one fits all of those requirements.

I mean, just look at it! It’s quite the showstopper.

Twirl that fettuccine around a fork – grab a juicy tomato – and enjoy all the flavors of the basil and garlic infused sauce. It sticks gloriously to the cooked fettucine noodles!

And any extra sauce at the bottom of the bowl can get sopped up with a fresh piece of bread.

Because all warm pasta dish need bread as a “dipper”. Don’t you agree?

One pot dishes like this one – that look fancy, yet are extremely doable – are perfect for date night’s in. We are all busy {trust me, I know – we have 3 kids in a million activities that keep us very busy}, so why not bring the date right to your kitchen?

Open a bottle of wine, get this Chicken & Tomato Basil Fettucine on the menu, grab a bagged salad and some fresh bread and YOU ARE SET.

Oh and make sure you grab a pizza for the kids and get their favorite movie lined up – once they are settled celebrate the two of you!

The colors are vibrant and the flavors are fresh!
