We've been eating this zippy and flavorful spaghetti salad for years!
Full of flavor and bright colors it's the perfect addition to any meal.
Over the years I have created hundreds of recipes. After 13 years of food blogging that tends to happen! And with that comes me having to "redo" those recipes. Photos look old, text gets outdated and the like. This recipe happened to be one of them!
It's one of our family's favorite pasta salads - seriously everyone likes it (which also surprises me because it has lots of veggies in it) - but honestly I think it is because of it's zippy and zesty flavor.
I should call this confetti salad as the colors are BRIGHT - yellow peppers, tomatoes, black olives, green onions - all the colors of the rainbow.
That is what pasta salads should be, right?
Full of color and flavor. A few of the favorites I've made over the years have been your favorites too. This BBQ Chicken Pasta Salad is great in the Summer when you have leftover grilled chicken to use up and if you love dill pickles my Dill Pickle Pasta Salad is always fun.
This fun side dish also gets it's zip from Mrs. Dash's Original Seasoning and zesty Italian dressing, plus a little garlic powder for good measure.
Add in chopped pepperonis and fresh Parmesan cheese and well frankly, I can eat this as a meal.
And in all of our opinions the longer it gets to sit in the fridge the better! All of those flavors come together. Plus, it's the perfect pasta salad to make the day ahead for any event as it stays fresh for days (unlike most mayo based salads).
Serve this pasta salad alongside any main dish - this past week I served it with baked ham & cheese sliders. It's also great with any grilled meats (chicken, fish, steak) and is also yummy as a quick lunch with some fresh fruit or a leafy salad.
If you need a fun dish to take to a gathering - this is the one!
But make sure you print off the recipe (below) and bring it along. People will ask.
I have decided that this is going to be my go-to salad this summer. It’s always a big hit.
