Angel Food Strawberry Fluff

One of our favorite Spring and Summer desserts, this Angel Food Strawberry Fluff.
Perfect for potlucks, parties and family gatherings.

I've been making this fluff "salad" for over 10 years now. I first had it when a friend's Mom brought it over during one of our annual garage sales. We sat around outside selling our treasures and snacking on bowls of this fluff.

It was the BEST treat!

With strawberry season just around the corner I always try and find ways to incorporate those tasty berries into different dishes.

Bites of angel food cake and sliced strawberries on a wooden cutting board.

So many of you have made my strawberry freezer jam, this incredible strawberry cheesecake tart, my tart strawberry lemonade blondies and my super popular four ingredient strawberry upside down cake.

What can I say, they happen to be my favorite berry!

This fluff salad incorporates them into a mixture of whipped topping, vanilla pudding, sweetened condensed milk and chunks of angel food cake. Sound funny? Kinda! But it works perfectly.

My kids were thrilled to see this snack in the fridge when they arrived home from school last week. And a big bowl of it too!

I usually make this for bigger gatherings (it makes a lot). I promise you people will want to eat straight out of the serving bowl. It's rather addicting.

Oh - and while I'm partial to strawberries - any berry can be used. I used raspberries once when the store strawberries didn't look so good. Blackberries or blueberries would be fun too.

Here's the other great news.

Go ahead and buy a store bought angel food cake! No one will know the difference. For these photos I whipped up a box mix (Betty Crocker has a nice one where you just add water to the mix), but in the past I've purchased one from the store.

If you are feeling extra bake up your famous homemade recipe. All options work!

Well, I've given you the perfect dessert or "salad" for your Spring and Summer fun. I cannot wait to see what occasions you whip it up for!

If you make and would be willing to leave a quick star rating review below on the recipe card that would make my heart happy too.

  1. I have made this 3 times already this year! It’s sooooo good! When I say it’s good, I mean I had to break up a fight between an 8 year old and a 40 yr old over who ate the last bite, which ended in crying, then promise to make more! It never lasts more than 24 hours in our house!
