Here are my top recipes from the year!
These recipes are the most clicked on and the most popular - your favorites.
One of my favorite things to do at the end of each year is to pop onto Google Analytics (how us bloggers reference who is visiting our website) and take a look at which recipes did well and which recipes didn't fare so well.
There are always some surprises!
In all fairness, this year I had THREE posts go bananas and they were all round-up posts. People love these because they get many different recipe ideas in just one click. Here are the posts I'm referring to.
But after those - here are my top 10! And a little bit of everything we have. Some cookies, a crockpot dish, a fun sandwich, some sweets, a breakfast dish and more! Here we go.
10. Peach Quick Bread - this one was a fun surprise! I remember it being fairly popular this past Summer. One of my favorite ways to use up fresh peaches. This bread also has almond extract in it, which is a top favorite of mine.
9. Chocolate Dipped Peanut Butter Pretzels - this became a "snack" staple for my kids after school. If we ran out, they were asking for more. Simple to make, they are great for snacks, even better at the holidays!
8. Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream (using cottage cheese) - this one is so fun! The base of this ice cream really is cottage cheese. Don't knock it until you try it. When you blend it up smooth anything can be added! This strawberry cheesecake version is divine.
7. Crockpot Chicken Taco Chili - what a response this soup had! It's beyond easy to make, you literally throw all the ingredients into the crockpot and walk away. Definitely a great dinner for busy families.
6. Salted Butter Pecan Cookies - if you love butter pecan ice cream you will adore these cookies. They are salty and sweet and just darn heavenly.
5. Lemon Brownies - pucker up everyone! These are a sweet treat in the Summer, full of lemon flavor. It makes a small batch - just 8x8 pan, so feel free to have two.
4. Ultimate Veggie Hoagie - I made this recipe with Bushel Boy tomatoes and showcased it on TV and as an afterthought put them on my blog. Good thing I did! Such a great sandwich in the heat of the Summer. The creamy layer is golden.
3. Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Cookies - these were a delightful treat I baked up this past Fall. With just a hint of pumpkin spice people are surprised by how good they are!
2. Swedish Oven Pancake - this fun pancake was made by tons of you this past holiday season. I always say, it looks fancy, yet is very easy to make. Light, fluffy and such a hit!
1. Air Fryer Chicken Pickle Tenders - oh, what a joy these are! Truly one of my favorite recipes of the year as well. My family loves these. The pickle sauce is to die for.
Thank you all so much for trusting me to feed your family this year! I am super thankful for my readers. I truly do this because I love doing it and you guys make it so easy on me. Who knew food blogging could be a job?
Which recipe was your favorite?
I love #9 and #10! For the peach bread I usually swap out peaches for blueberries and it makes a delicious Blueberry loaf!
