Air Fryer Crispy Chicken Tenders

I’ve created the juiciest, crispy chicken tender this side of the Mississippi!

Your family will devour these.

This post is sponsored by AE Dairy, but all opinions are my own.

It’s no secret I have three kids that eat a lot. Two are teenagers, one is a pre-teen, all eat me out of my house. I’ll often post on Instagram about how my fridge is either empty or nearly empty. Did teens eat this much when I was growing up?

Feel sorry for us Moms. All I do is make lists for the grocery store, go to the grocery store and then start making another list. It’s a revolving door.

I was thinking about the teens as I tested this new chicken tender recipe, because what kid doesn’t love a chicken tender? I pulled them out of the air fryer and after the first bite knew I could do one of two things – hide them for myself or invite them into the kitchen and watch them disappear.

I did the latter.

A plate of crushed cornflakes, plain yogurt and plate of spices on a wooden cutting board.

This month I’m continuing my partnership with AE Dairy and we decided to focus on their low fat yogurt. We almost immediately decided on using their plain variety as a marinade for chicken tenders. Because behind every good piece of chicken is a good marinade.

And since air fryers are so popular, why not make an air fryer version?

You’ve seen some great savory dishes from us as of late – the fun, tangy Dill Pickle Pizza, this creamy Ground Beef Stroganoff and the Italian favorite, my Cheesy Stuffed Shells.

And double bonus? You use the air fryer! No oil required, easy clean up….and quicker when you have hungry teens waiting!

This chicken stays very moist (I used this handheld meat thermometer to make sure it had an internal temp of 165 degrees) + the crunch factor is ON POINT. Honestly, I just may use cornflake cereal to bread everything!

I cannot wait to see you make these for your kids! Or yourself….they are THAT good. Mine loved dunking them in honey mustard and barbecue sauce. All eight chicken tenders will go quickly so consider making yourself a double batch.
