Here is a new, fun way to enjoy our favorite buffalo
sauce!
This time in my Buffalo Chicken Stuffed Shells.
This post is sponsored by Cookies BBQ Sauce & Seasonings, but all opinions are my own.
Oh buffalo sauce, it’s been a favorite of mine for years.
The original buffalo wing was created way back in 1964, but I feel it has
gained tremendous popularity during the past 20 years.
Continuing my Summer series with Cookies, we wanted to create a dish
using their Wings “N”
Things buffalo sauce. It has long been my favorite store-bought version.
Made with a blend of cayenne pepper juice, vinegar and butter, it’s thick with
just the right amount of kick.
We wanted to make something different – so why not try it in
pasta? Honestly, I feel like a great wing sauce can make any dish fun.
Over the years you guys have loved these favorites.
Air
Fryer Buffalo Chicken Tostadas
Spicy
Buffalo Chicken Enchiladas
These stuffed shells, are well…STUFFED – shredded
chicken, cream cheese, Wings “N”
Things sauce, mozzarella cheese, ranch seasoning and fresh garlic. What is
there not to love?
When it all bakes together, it’s perfect. The heat of the
buffalo sauce is balanced perfectly together by the two cheeses.
Cookies has been
making sauces and seasonings for almost 50 years. We love their Korean sauce in
my Sheet
Pan Korean BBQ Chicken and their Sweet Hickory sauce in my French
Onion BBQ Sliders.
With Fall right around the corner, this is a great one to
prep as it’s a fun dish for football watch parties as it puts a twist on traditional
buffalo wings and buffalo chicken dip.
It’s cheesy, fun and full of flavor!
It’s also a dish to bring to a friend or family member who
enjoys buffalo sauce and may need a little pick me up! It travels well and can
be baked off whenever it is ready to eat. Or if they aren’t quite ready to eat
it, just cover tightly with plastic wrap and foil and pop it in the freezer. It
will last up to 3 months.
I had some extra kiddos at our house the week I made these
and they all gave them a thumbs up! With just a little spice and tons of flavor
they all agreed it was a fun, new pasta dish (that they’d tell their moms
about).
