Cheeseburger Bites

Everyone loves finger food and today I have a great one!

These Cheeseburger Bites are perfect for game watching and parties.

This post is sponsored by AE Dairy, but all opinions are my own.

I’ve always told people I’d rather eat an array of little bites than a big meal! That way you get to try various foods all at the same time.

My new Cheeseburger Bites fit right into this category of fun appetizers. And right in time for March Madness!

But if basketball is not your thing, no sweat…. these are good anytime.

A muffin tin of baked cheeseburger bites with a cutting board of toppings - lettuce, tomato, pickles and dip.

AE Dairy and I wanted to create a fun finger food for Spring that used one of their sour cream-based dips.

I immediately wanted to use their Dill Pickle Sour Cream Dip for a few reasons 1) the dill pickle tang is incredible 2) I love anything pickle related and 3) everyone loved when I used it making my Dill Pickle Pizza last year.

So I got to work!

And in true fashion, like all my recipes, I wanted to keep these simple.

Every good cheeseburger has ground beef, cheese, seasonings, lettuce, tomato and dill pickles, so that is exactly what I put into these fun bites.

For the base I used crescent roll dough, as it molds perfectly into muffin tins and bakes up perfectly holding all the goods for the cheeseburger filling.

So where does the dip come into play you might ask?

AE Dairy’s sour cream-based dips have long been a favorite choice when getting together and sharing a meal – whether simply dipping a potato chip in it or topping it on your baked potato, people love these dips in a variety of ways.

AE Dairy has 12 different, fun varieties, but I have always loved the dill pickle version. The pickle flavor is on point!

For this recipe I stirred half of the container right into the ground beef mixture. The flavor it makes these cheeseburger bites incredible.

Look at how adorable they are!

After baking I topped these with shredded lettuce, chopped dill pickles, tomatoes and more of AE Dairy’s dill pickle dip. Such a fun two bite appetizer.

These can be served straight out of the oven or at room temperature. And they look pretty on a platter!

I cannot wait to see your Cheeseburger Bites! Have an appetizer night at home or bring them to your game day party. And bring extra Dill Pickle Dip! Trust me, people will want to add an extra dollop to their plate.
